The only non-spinoff titles missing from this list are the 2016 remake (PS4) which supposedly isn't all that great Then you've got the Future trilogy (all released separately):
Then there's Ratchet: Deadlocked which has had it's HD remaster released through the PlayStation Store. RaC, RaC GC and RaC UyA through the "Trilogy" HD remaster collection which is a bit janky in the cutscenes, but nothing game-breaking. (my favourite is quest for booty, short, but really interesting!)Ī PS3 lets you play most of the main games: rift apart is the sequel to into the nexus, but it doesn't really matter if you play them both :)Īnd also, the 2016 remake of the original game follows the plot of the original but they changed a few things up, i still enjoy it nonetheless though! if you have a ps4 its free on the playstation store, so you really have nothing to lose.Īpparently it was released around the same time the ps4 was released, so it doesnt have a lot of copies and is harder to come by so youre probably better off just playing rift apart (luckily i was able to get the game when it came out thanks to my grandpa! we're both huge ratchet and clank fans)Įdit: oh! and the RACFuture series has a few characters that appear in into the nexus (i.e the smuggler and talwyn), so if youd like to know some info on them before hand i reccomend playing those too. If you dont have access to that, then playing into the nexus and then rift apart is fine, or if you just wanna play rift apart then thats fine too. but that might be a bit hard if you dont have the PS2, 3, 4 and 5 I would recommend playing chronologically if you wanna do ALL the games.
